The Fort Frances Choraliers are getting ready to perform this year’s Christmas cantata three times over the next few weekends.
A group of about 50 women and men will perform “Good News from Home” at 1:30 p.m. this Sunday (Dec. 2) for residents at Rainycrest Long-Term Care here.
They’ll then sing it for the public on Sunday, Dec. 9 at 3 p.m. at the Zion Lutheran Church in International Falls.
A third performance is slated for Sunday, Dec. 16 at 3 p.m. at the Townshend Theatre here.
Admission to the latter two performances is a free-will offering.
Director Diane Maxey said there also will be a bake sale at the Dec. 16 concert, with proceeds going to help defray the cost of renting the Townshend Theatre.
The Choraliers have been rehearsing at the New Beginnings Fellowship on Monday evenings since October.
Anyone with questions can contact Maxey at 274-7309.
