Press Release
This season, “Rhythmic Circus” comes to the Backus stage in International Falls with its trademark blend of live music and tap dance as you’ve never seen before.
Don’t miss out on this wildly-imaginative, “not-so-silent night” the whole family can celebrate together.
Four world-renowned hoofers and their swingin’ eight-piece band inject the signature “Rhythmic Circus” style of rapid-fire tap into upbeat holiday classics.
“The Holiday Shuffle by Rhythmic Circus” will be on stage at the Backus Community Center on Tuesday, Nov. 27 at 7 p.m. (doors open at 6:30).
Tickets cost $12 for adults and $5 for kids aged six-18 (those five and under are free).
They are available at the Backus office and City Drug Store in the Falls, J&D Foods in Littlefork, and Betty’s in Fort Frances, as well as at the door.
The concession stand and cash bar will be open before the show and during intermission.
For more than a decade, “Rhythmic Circus” has been an icon in the world of tap dance. The troupe has performed its productions in more than 250 cities worldwide, including a six-week tour throughout China and the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the world’s largest art festival.
Notable U.S. performances include the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., an extended off-Broadway run at New York’s New Victory Theater, and the American reality television series, “America’s Got Talent.”
