Fort Frances Lakers’ forward Brett Hahkala jumped to avoid the oncoming check from Nicholas Koch of the Minnesota Iron Rangers during his squad’s 6-2 win Saturday night at the Hoyt Lakes Arena. Hahkala scored twice over the weekend to help the Lakers roar out to a 2-0-0-0 start to the SIJHL regular season.
