Members of the Muskie golf team tried their best at the NorWOSSA season-opener Friday in Dryden.
Fort High tied for fourth in the team event with the Kenora Broncos with a combined score of 395.
The Muskies were led by Aiden Wielinga (92), Mikel Ward (95), and Gordy Scott (97).
Dawsen Allen carded a 111 to round out the top four scores that made up the team total.
The Muskies will look to improve on their totals at the second competition of the season this Thursday at Beauty Bay GC in Kenora.
Red Lake then will host the regular-season finale next Tuesday (Sept. 25), with Fort High to host the NWOSSAA championships on Oct. 2.
