Fort Frances Coun. Wendy Brunetta, left, spoke about planning an election campaign as fellow councillor June Caul looked on yesterday evening during a “Women in Politics” symposium entitled “Do You Want to Run for Politics?” held at Confederation College here. The event featured a panel of speakers, including Couns. Brunetta and Caul and Thunder Bay councillor-at-large Rebecca Johnson, who spoke about topics such as making the decision to run and life in politics. It was organized by Coun. Brunetta, the PARO Centre for Women’s Enterprise, Women in Politics, and the Rainy River Future Development Corp.
