New Rainy River District OPP detachment commander Insp. Nathan Schmidt gave an activity update to the local Police Services Board during its regular meeting this morning at the Civic Centre. Insp. Schmidt has filled the shoes of Insp. Steve Shouldice, who served 19 years with the Rainy River District OPP before relocating to Smiths Falls, Ont. last month.
