Caleb Pistilli is the New Year’s baby for 2018 in Rainy River District. He was born last Tuesday (Jan. 2) at 11:34 a.m. at La Verendrye Hospital to Megan and Mike Pistilli of Fort Frances, weighing in at seven pounds even. Each year, gifts and gift baskets are provided for the New Year’s baby by local businesses and organizations, with this year’s donors being the Cabin Country Quilt Guild, Fort Floral, Shoppers Drug Mart, Canada Safeway, Pharmasave, Ink Spotz Apparel, and Curvy Chick.
