The Northwest Catholic District School Board elected a chair and vice-chair at its annual meeting held Dec. 8.
Trustee David Sharp, who lives in Stratton and has served as a trustee with the board since 2014, was re-elected as chair.
“I am honoured to serve as chair of the Northwest Catholic District School Board,” said Sharp.
“I will continue to work with staff to support decisions that represent our Gospel values and benefit all students entrusted to our care,” he pledged.
Kathy Bryck, who lives in Dryden and has served as a trustee with the board since 2010, was re-elected as vice-chair.
“I am honoured to serve as vice-chair and will continue to promote excellence in Catholic education,” she remarked.
“Our families and communities are blessed to be served by chair David Sharp and vice-chair Kathy Bryck,” said Director of Education Brendan Hyatt.
“[They are] leaders who have demonstrated their commitment to achieving the mission of our board and doing what is best for our students,” he noted.
