Local youths had a blast on the ice while participating in the Canada 150 “Skating Day” held Sunday afternoon at the ’52 Canadians Arena. The event, which was free to the community and ran from 1-3 p.m., featured free skating instruction, on-ice games, and face-painting, as well as a “Canada 150”-themed cake and various refreshments.
