Former OHL player Brock McGillis was at the Townshend Theatre yesterday to speak to Fort High students about his struggle of being a closeted pro athlete, as well as share his empowering message of self-love and inclusion, while also aiming to change the perceptions of LGBTQ athletes and individuals. He spoke at the high school in Atikokan on Monday but his stop scheduled for Tuesday at Rainy River High School had to be postponed to due the poor road conditions.
