The Muskie football team fell short in its bid to capture the WHSFL Bowl this season.
The black-and-gold lost 24-15 to the St. Norbert Celtics in a semi-final showdown yesterday in Winnipeg.
Scoring details were not available at press time.
The West Kildonan Wolverines edged the Churchill Bulldogs 34-30 in the other semi-final and will face the Celtics in the final this Wednesday.
The Muskies went 2-5 in Andy Currie Division (‘A’) play during the regular season.
They advanced to the semi-finals after being awarded a win by default over the Maples Marauders after their first-round playoff clash was cancelled due to inclement weather.
