The Muskie football team is on to the semi-finals of the WHSFL Bowl series.
The team learned this morning it was awarded a victory by default over the Maples Marauders after their first-round playoff showdown scheduled for here yesterday afternoon had to be cancelled due to weather conditions.
It is believed the Muskies, who finished regular-season play with a 2-5 record, next will face the St. Norbert Celtics (4-3), who had a first-round bye.
It was not confirmed at press time when the game will be played.
The other semi-final will pit the West Kildonan Wolverines against the Churchill Bulldogs, who advanced after knocking off the Tec Voc Hornets 34-18 yesterday in Winnipeg.
