Rick Vaive, best remembered as the first 50-goal scorer in Toronto Maple Leafs’ franchise history, got in a little warm-up prior to Thursday night’s charity fundraiser game against a team made up of local talent. Selected fifth overall by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1979 entry draft, Vaive also played for Chicago and Buffalo during his NHL career.
