Former NHL’er Dave McLlwain was no match on defence as a squad comprised of Fort Frances Girls’/Women’s Hockey Association Timbits’ players bore down on ex-Calgary Flames’ standout goalie Trevor Kidd. They took to the ice to face the “Legends” during the final five minutes of the first period, with a Timbits team from the Fort Frances Minor Hockey Association doing the same over the last five minutes of the second.
