Local firefighter Wayne Riches helped the Grade 2 class at J.W. Walker into the back of a fire truck cab parked outside the school last Thursday so they could get a first-hand look. In conjunction with Fire Prevention Week (Oct. 8-14), the Fort Frances Fire/Rescue Service made similar visits to St. Michael’s and Robert Moore schools to spread the message about fire safety.
