One Fort Frances Lakers’ forward is returning to the squad while another has moved on.
The Lakers announced Tuesday that Julian Uhryniuk will be back for his third season with the SIJHL squad.
The 20-year-old from East St. Paul, Man. battled injuries much of last season, which limited him to just 39 regular-season games and then sidelined him for the entire playoffs.
Uhryniuk had 20 points to go along with 40 penalty minutes.
Matt Tustin, meanwhile, will continue his hockey career in the Mon-Dak Athletic Conference with the Williston St. Tetons from Williston, N.D., an ACHA Division II squad.
The 20-year-old over-ager led the Lakers with 12 power-play goals last season.
He was third on the team with 55 points in 55 regular-season games, then added five more in eight post-season ones.
The Lakers will hold their main training camp Aug. 31-Sept. 2 at the Ice For Kids Arena.
