“Marzie Days” was on Saturday at Alf and Barb Redford’s–grandpa and grandma to Marzie.
The day was fun with the abundance of hearty plants ( of all kinds) delicious burgers, homemade baking, and of course a lot of visiting and reconnecting.
Approximately $7,550.00 has been mad thus far for this worthy cause. However, Barb will have her plants for sale all week to anyone wanting to buy plants and support this worthy cause.
Winners of prizes at Marzie Days were Glenna Rea winning the Lush Basket (donated every year by Tamara Robson and Amanda Galusha), Vivian Callaghan, Karen Davis, Bev Kozachenko, Bethany Kinsmen Elaine Aveyard, Nancy Cain, Iris Shute, Tamara Robson and myself.
Hats off to Barb, Alf, her family and the many volunteers who have raised over $ 42,000 to date.

Robin’s 2¢
Him: You don’t have to say I’m sorry.
Me: Actually, I’m Canadian so I have to say I’m sorry at least 10 times a day or I lose my Canadian citizenship.
