Caitlyn Townson checked out a pot that started a house fire after being left by a stove burner while at the Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service’s spring open house Saturday morning at the fire hall. Aimed to promote fire safety and emergency preparedness, the event also featured hand-outs, giveaways for kids, and free T-shirts.
