Winnipeg’s Sarah Shotton, right, instructed Zak Kellar and the rest of the assembled players on the finer art of throwing the ball during the two-day CANPITCH fastpitch clinic put on by Rainy River First Nations this past weekend at the Manitou Rapids ballpark. The former Manitoba female player of the year was on hand to help lend her expertise to those already in the two fastball leagues in the district, as well as those on their way to perhaps one day joining them.
