In March, 1981, Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. established a Quarter-Century Club to honour employees of the corporation and auxiliary members with 25 years or more of service.
In 2001, physicians who have had 25 or more years with hospital privileges at Riverside were included in the Quarter-Century Club.
Members reaching 25, 30, 35, or 40 years of service were honoured at a special recognition ceremony, which took place last Wednesday (April 5) at the Fort Frances Legion.
New members honoured this year included:
•25 years of service–Edward Cousineau, Robin Stearns, Christine Bethune, and Geraldine Benjamin;
•30 years of service–Dorothy Gamie, Janet Gustafson, Sheri Monahan, Darcy Parsons, Deborah Pattison, Judith Steinke, Maxine Irvine, Joann Magel, Doreen Mercer, Julie Ricard, and Brenda Wood; and
•35 years of service–Wendy Derendorf, Lydie Nussbaumer, Deborah Adams, and Russell Paterson
Riverside Health Care Facilities, Inc. would like to congratulate all staff recognized for their dedication and extensive contribution of service to the people in our district.
Riverside also is proud to acknowledge auxiliary members for their continued support.
Auxiliary members honoured this year included:
•25 years of service–June Keddie (La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary), Georgina Connor (Rainycrest LTC Auxiliary), and Irene Redford (Emo Health Centre Auxiliary);
•30 years of service–Loretta Brunetta, Cal Robertson, and Marjorie Smeeth (all La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary), Marg Rogozinski (Rainycrest LTC Auxiliary), and Chris Hartry, Wilma Wielinga, Mollie Crozier, Cecile McComb, Bernice Campbell, and Margaret Woollard (all Emo Health Centre Auxiliary); and
•40 years of service–Bev Busch, Jackie Dalgetty, and Verena Zucchiatti (all La Verendrye Hospital Auxiliary).
