Getting married in the next year or so?
Then be sure to drop by Northwoods Gallery & Gifts tomorrow from 6-8 p.m. for its 2017 Bridal Show.
The annual event is a one-stop shopping experience to meet caterers, photographers, decorators, florists, and retailers who can help you plan for that special day, said Northwoods’ staffer Betty Fehr.
“With all of the vendors that are coming, it’s a sort of information night,” she explained.
“It’s good to be able to meet with the vendors and get the information.”
Vendors will have samples of their products on hand and be able to answer questions about their services.
“It’s a very fun night,” said Fehr. “Everybody gets to meet everybody.”
Fehr said the bridal show always is very popular and she expects the store to be packed once again.
But to help Northwoods’ staff better prepare for how many people will be coming, brides-to-be and their friends are asked to pre-register by calling 274-9224.
You can call anytime before tomorrow evening. But even then, Northwoods expects to have walk-ins, noted Fehr.
This year’s vendors range from stores such as McTaggart’s, which provides tuxedo rentals, and Curvy Chick, which sells wedding gowns, dresses and lingerie, to DJ services like The Sound Man Music & Sound System and Party Rock DJ Services.
Caterers include Todd Moxham’s Cater 2 U and Carl’s Eatery while Sweetey Cakes by Shelley has your wedding cake needs covered.
Photographers include Mike Anderson Photography and Lyndon Hughes Photography, with the Fort Frances Times to be promoting wedding stationery.
Other vendors will include Flowers by Donna Lowey, Gibson Design, Gold Star Taxi, La Place Rendez-Vous, Cheers U Brew, Copper River Inn, Mary Kay rep Mary Croswell, Trudeau-Henckels (kitchen knives), and Sunrise Ceremonies (wedding officiants).
Each of the vendors will have draws to enter, with prizes such as gift certificates and coupons for money off their services, noted Fehr.
Brockie’s Jewellers also has donated a beautiful watch as a door prize.
As well, Northwoods will be giving out gift bags for all the brides-to-be.
