They were makeup games but No Diggity’s effort wasn’t just cosmetic.
With the Fort High gym unavailable due to exams, St. Michael’s School last night hosted to a quartet of postponed games from Dec. 8 in the Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League.
Third-place No Diggity reigned supreme in its two matches–earning the maximum six points to bump their season total to 65.
That puts them just one point behind second-place Kiss My Pass (66), which was idle last night.
How I Set Your Mother, who also didn’t play, remains in first place with 79.
Idle Let’s Talk About Sets remains in fourth place (50).
Other teams in action last night included Bump It Up, whose lone point moved them into a tie for fifth with idle Scared Hitless (45).
The Inseiners (26) nabbed four points to move past idle Serves You Right (23) into ninth.
Idle Gillons’ sits in seventh place (41) while the One Hit Wonders are in eighth (35).
Cellar-dwelling Rockstars (eight) only scraped together one point to make a minor dent in the gap between themselves and 11th-place Arm & Hammer (16), which didn’t play last night.
All teams will be back in action next Thursday beginning at 7 p.m.
