Nothing says “love” like baked goodies and helping others.
With Valentine’s Day on the horizon, Tess Coish of Tess’ Kitchen is bringing both of those things together and once again taking her cookie cutter out to help charities.
Coish is selling heart-shaped Valentine cookies for $1 each.
The proceeds will be split between the Fort Frances Community Chest, which helps district families with medical expenses, and “Walk for A Smile”–a campaign to purchase preventive oral health care supplies in which her daughter, Sara, a dental hygiene student at Cambrian College in Sudbury, is involved.
Coish will be taking cookie orders until Feb. 8.
If you’re ordering them for your children’s school, let her know and she will pack them individually.
