Emerson Evans of the Fort Frances PeeWee ‘AA’ Canadians was denied on this penalty shot by Lord Selkirk Rebels’ goalie Evan Bandera in the third period of the championship game of the Canadians’ home tournament yesterday at the Ice For Kids Arena. Evans and his teammates weren’t crying the blues about the miss, though, as they cruised to a 5-1 triumph over the Winnipeg squad.
