Mayor Roy Avis and Mary O’Connor, local Client Services co-ordinator for the Alzheimer Society of Kenora-Rainy River Districts, posed with the flag outside the Civic Centre on Tuesday to mark “Alzheimer Awareness Month.” Among the events the month is the “Forget Me Not” annual charitable dinner set for Saturday, Jan. 21 at La Place Rendez-Vous.
