Area school boards are seeking feedback from families for the 2017-18 school year calendar.
The feedback collected through the survey will be taken back to the Regional School Year Calendar Committee (comprised of five area school boards) for its use while creating the new school year calendar.
The survey asks only two questions—what school board your child attends and what your preference is for the start and end of the next school year.
The choice are:
•start school before Labour Day (on Aug. 29, 2017), with the last day of the school year on June 22, 2018; or
•start school after Labour Day (on Sept. 6, 2017), with the last day of the school year on June 29, 2018.
There is a space where parents also can include additional information if they wish.
The survey can be found by visiting your local school board’s website.
The deadline to complete the survey is Dec. 9.
