From the OPP
The Rainy River District OPP was notified of a single motor-vehicle collision on Highway 71 in Chapple Township on Saturday around 8 a.m.
A 23-year-old Northwest Angle First Nation woman was arrested at the scene and taken to Fort Frances for breath tests.
She was charged with having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg and driving while suspended.
The vehicle was impounded for a minimum of seven days and she was issued a mandatory 90-day driver’s licence suspension.
She is scheduled to appear in court here Jan. 17.
