Amer Mumtaz, left, Petrina Carlson, Terri Seguin, and Lauren DeGagne gave away hotdogs in exchange for donations yesterday, as well as sold zipper pulls, necklaces, and magnets made by CIBC staff Rebecca Webb, to raise funds for the upcoming CIBC “Run for the Cure,” the closest one of which will be held in Thunder Bay. The CIBC “Run for the Cure” is a 5K or 1K walk/run that raises money for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. It is the largest single-day, volunteer-led event in Canada in support of the breast cancer cause.
