Dana Allen, left, and her daughter, Olivia, got plenty of fire safety information from volunteer firefighter Shawn Morrison of the Fort Frances Fire and Rescue Service during the third-annual community barbecue celebrating safety at Point Park on Saturday. About 250 people of all ages turned out for the free event organized by the Rainy River District Substance Abuse Prevention Team, Safe Communities Rainy River District, Rainy River District Community Policing Committee, and Fort Frances Kiwanis Club.
