Dr. Kimmie Ondo danced and sang her way to the grand prize during the annual “Quest for the Best” singing competition Friday night under the big tent at the Sorting Gap Marina. She earlier captured first place for the second set by amazing the judges with her cover of Tina Turner’s “Proud Mary.”
