Janet Minor, treasurer of the Law Society of Upper Canada, checked out the law library at the Fort Frances Courthouse yesterday while on a tour led by Jennifer Coombe, Supervisor of Court Operations. Minor met with the chiefs of Couchiching First Nation and Grand Council Treaty #3 in the afternoon, followed by the courthouse tour and a dinner with members of the Rainy River District Law Association. Her visit was aimed at understanding issues within the justice system particular to the local area.
