Ma-Nee Chacaby, a Two-Spirit Ojibwa-Cree elder, conducted a workshop during a student symposium yesterday at La Place Rendez-Vous that focused on LGBTQ-Straight Alliance School-Based Programs. Through a series of keynote speakers and workshops, more than 60 students from four different school boards learned about inclusivity. This was the second event of its kind to be hosted here by the Rainy River District School Board.
