Dear editor:
The definition of scandalous: causing general public outrage by a perceived offence against morality or law.
When I saw a letter to the editor entitled as such, I thought to myself, “Well, I better click on that.” However, I wish I hadn’t.
I wish I hadn’t because it reminds me that the world is still full of such narrow-minded individuals who will stoop to fear-mongering to quell their own hysteria. Since when is a bunch of school children, wearing anti-bullying shirts, a threat to local morality?
I’m disappointed that this letter was even printed. How ludicrous a statement it is to make in 2016 that the colour of a T-shirt could influence masculinity or sexuality.
This is exactly why the “Day of Pink” was created and why it’s message has been taken up by so many people.
Stop the hate sir. You are missing the whole point.
