Fort Frances High School teachers Keith Gilbert, left, and Duane Roen joined their colleagues on the picket line in front of the school’s entrance off McIrvine Road early this morning. With contract negotiations between the Ontario Secondary School Teachers’ Federation District 5B and Rainy River District School Board on local issues at an impasse, the teachers opted to undergo a full withdrawal of services one day per week. The OSSTF will determine the date of subsequent one-day strikes at the beginning of each week.
