Erinne Wreggitt, left, and Laurie Nuttall of the Northwest Community Legal Clinic (NCLC) showed off the winning entry in its contest amongst staff to come up a T-shirt design for “International Day of Pink” tomorrow. The design was created by Yvonne Treffers, a community legal worker in the Atikokan office. The message on the T-shirt states: “All Human Beings Are Born Free and Equal in Dignity and Rights,” a quote from the United Nations’ Universal Declaration of Human Rights. All NCLC staff will be wearing the shirts tomorrow for “International Day of Pink” while Wreggitt will be giving out a number of extras to people to spread the message of inclusivity, diversity, and anti-bullying throughout the community.
