We Could Carry Less decided it was time to have their best night of the season.
The team did just that, reaching the maximum six points to move into a tie for ninth with Wild Sets at 34 points apiece in Fort Frances Women’s Volleyball League action last night.
Wild Sets was no slouch, either, recording five points for the second straight week.
How I Set Your Mother continues to lead the fray with 104 points, with No Diggity desperately trying to close the gap with its fourth straight maximum point week to sit at 91.
Scared Hitless also hit for six to solidify their hold on third (80), while there is a close fight behind them between fourth-place That’s What She Set (76) and fifth-place Bump it Up (73), which defaulted due to not wanting to travel the icy roads.
Gillons’ is comfortably in sixth (69), while Let’s Talk About Sets (46) and I’d Hit That (39, shut out last night) are seventh and eighth, respectively.
Rockstars was shut out, but still remains 11th (15), while Sloppy Sets also defaulted due to their concerns about the highway conditions to remain in last place (11).
Action resumes next Thursday (Feb. 25) at 7 p.m.
