Falls troupe planning unique dinner theatre

Press Release

“Borealis Bards,” the Backus Community Center’s own community theatre troupe, is at it again!
They will present their second-annual unique dinner theatre, entitled “A Room to Act,” on Saturday, Feb. 27.
The meal begins at 6 p.m., followed by an entertaining evening of short plays, monologues, and poems performed by friends and neighbours.
There is a slight twist to the format, however.
The audience travels from room to room to enjoy a variety of performances on three different stages.
Whether it’s a story of a couple reliving their relationship through post-it notes, a short dramatic piece taking place in turn-of-the-century Greenwich Village, or an original collection of character studies, the evening will celebrate the upcoming change in seasons from winter to spring—and all of life’s transitions that come with it.
Tickets cost $35 each, which are available at the Backus office (900 Fifth St.) and City Drug in International Falls.
You also can call the Backus office at 1-218-285-7225.
