A new day will hopefully bring a new result for the Muskie senior boys basketball team.
The River East Kodiaks (Winnipeg) got past the Muskies 70-53 in the Fort’s first game at the Sturgeon Heights Invitational tournament in the Manitoba capital yesterday.
Jacob Empey and Liam Metke each had 14 points in the loss for the Muskies, while Kevin Metke chipped in with 12.
The Muskies’ next game is today at 4:15 p.m. in the consolation round, with their opponents unknown as of press time.
