The beat goes on.
Four more games between the Muskies and Kenora Broncos yesterday resulted in another four wins for Fort High, which has not lost a NorWOSSA game to the Broncos this school year.
In junior boys’ basketball action, the first-place Muskies (5-0) romped to a 70-33 rout over the host Bronco (1-4).
Aaron Bujold led the attack with a season-high 38 points.
Fort High (5-0) took a more balanced approach in senior boys’ action as they downed Kenora (0-5) by a 64-43 margin.
Kevin Metke led the way with 14 points while Cole Kowalski added 13 and Jacob Empey had 12.
In girls’ volleyball, Fort High (4-1) moved into sole possession of first place with a 3-1 victory over winless Kenora (0-5).
The set scores were 25-19, 12-25, 25-20, and 25-9.
Meanwhile, the junior Muskies (3-2) preferred a shorter match—sweeping the Broncos (0-5) by scores of 25-17, 25-22, and 25-16.
All four squads head to Dryden on Monday to face the Eagles in their last matches before exam break.
They next play at home Feb. 4 against Kenora.
