The Fort Frances Atom ‘AA’ Calder Legal Eagles closed out 2015 in style with a 3-2 win over the Fort Frances Minor Hockey Association Novice Armstrong Crushers.
Piper Miller lit the lamp twice for the Eagles while Kassidy Gurniak added a single.
Then on Sunday, the Fort Frances Novice Lions blanked the Emo Express 3-0.
Marissa Kenny paced the Lions with a pair of goals while Jersey Rose netted the other one.
Harper Gunderson earned the shutout.
In a hard-fought battle last night, the Fort Frances PeeWee BDO Stars battled Fort Frances PeeWee Esso to a 3-3 draw.
Makenna Hill scored twice for the Stars while Harper Amdahl added a single.
Rachel McCoy, Payten Tuesday, and Samantha Kelly replied for Esso.
