Walmart assistant manager Rosanne DeGagne, left, and Jodi Forbes, Walmart’s charity co-ordinator, along with volunteer Bobbi King, Mayor Roy Avis, and Lt. Ryan MacDonald kicked off the local Salvation Army’s Christmas kettle campaign there yesterday afternoon. The kettles will be out at various locations around town from now until Dec. 24, with proceeds going to help district families this Christmas. To volunteer to ring the bells, call 274-3871.
