Kathie Jackson and her team of third Teresa McFayden, second Leanne Eluik, and lead Jackie McCormick, representing Northern Ontario, begin play today at 5:30 p.m. (all times CST) against B.C. in the opening women’s draw at The Travelers Curling Club Championships national playdowns in Ottawa.
Jackson and McFayden return to the nationals after going 1-5 along with second Lisa Penner and lead Kris Sinclair two years ago.
Northern Ontario is in Pool ‘B’ of the women’s field along with B.C., New Brunswick, Northwest Territories, Alberta, Manitoba, and the Yukon.
Jackson’s crew then will face the Yukon tomorrow at 10:30 a.m.
