In a cross-divisional match-up, the Fort Frances Midget Chargers (FFGWHA) nipped the Fort Frances Bantam ‘AA’ Leafs (FFMHA) 4-3 back on Nov. 5.
Myla Angus and Maddy Morrison had two goals apiece for the Chargers.
The Leafs’ goal scorers were not available at press time.
Last Thursday (Nov. 12), the Chargers blanked the Emo Express 5-0.
Morrison tallied twice to lead the way while Lillie MacKinnon, Bryanna Dustin, and Katelin Gurniak added singles.
In PeeWee action that same night, Esso beat the BDO Stars 3-1.
Abby Roach netted a pair of goals while Savannah McGinnis got the other one for Esso.
Makenna Hill had the Stars’ lone goal.
Then on Friday, the Fort Frances ‘AA’ Calder Legal Eagles shaded the Emo PeeWee Express 1-0.
Piper Miller got the lone goal while Maddy Bliss earned the shutout.
Also that night, the Fort Frances Novice Lions downed the Emo Express 3-1.
Logan McPherson lit the lamp twice for the Lions, with Marissa Kenny pitched in notching the other goal.
Miranda Wilson replied for Emo.
And on Tuesday, the Fort Frances Novice Tim Hortons Bruins held on for a 1-0 win over the Lions.
Ophelia Lucas-Engberg got the only goal while Savannah Marchuk earned the shutout.
