George Armstrong Co. Ltd. was at the site of the former Rainy Lake Hotel yesterday afternoon covering the area with granular material. Makkinga Contracting, meanwhile, has been subcontracted by JMC Contracting to come in and do site servicing next week. A new sanitary service main will be put in off Scott Street. Siding work then will be done on the two adjacent buildings (Brockie’s Jewellers and Causeway Insurance) by another subcontractor.
