Jessica Woodgate of the Fort Frances Herricanes contorted her way around Couchiching Lady Raiders’ catcher Dianna Singleton to score in the fourth inning of yesterday’s 17-11 victory in Rainy River District Women’s Fastball League action at Couchiching. In other games, Northwest Bay edged the Fort Frances Mud Dogs 10-9, the Manitou Blaze crushed the Fort Frances Juniors 27-2, and the Big Grassy Lynx bombed the Dawson Diggers 23-4. Two other games were postponed.
