Unifor Local 324 members at Acadia Broadcasting in Fort Frances voted unanimously in favour of ratifying a new collective agreement last night.
“Our members at Acadia Broadcasting were pleased with the monetary gains and key language improvements achieved in this new four-year deal,” said Unifor national representative Stephen Boon.
The new contract includes increased employer pension contributions, improved language, and a seven percent increase in employee pay over the four-year term.
Unifor represents more than 305,000 members across Canada in 20 economic sectors, including roughly 8,000 members across Northwestern Ontario.
