Cam Gobeil decided the Borderland Soccer League men’s division was only big enough for one undefeated team.
He netted both goals as International Travel Services edged Manitou Forest Products 2-1 last night.
The win pulled second-place ITS (2-0-2) within one point of Manitou (3-1-1) for top spot.
Tyler Hamm earned the win between the pipes, allowing only Dave Carlesimo’s marker.
Mark Faragher took the loss for Manitou.
Men’s division action resumes Tuesday when Manitou takes on the third-place La Place Rendez-Vous U18 Voyageurs (2-2) while ITS faces cellar-dwelling Pharmasave (0-4-1).
Women’s division play on Monday will see Al’s Racquet Stringing (2-3) face Taggs (2-2).
The league-leading La Place Rendez-Vous U18 Voyageurs (4-0), meanwhile, will look to stay unbeaten against last-place Boston Pizza (0-3).
All games start at 7 p.m.
