On May 30 at 5:45 a.m., Rainy River District OPP officers conducted a traffic stop of an erratic motor vehicle on the 300 block of Third Street West in Fort Frances.
The 18-year-old driver from Fort Frances was arrested for failing a roadside screen device.
He subsequently was taken to the OPP detachment for breath tests, which led to him being charged with having a blood alcohol level over 80 mg.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for the mandatory seven days.
He will appear in provincial court here July 6.
