The Bargain Shop employees Nancy Hanna, left, and Mary Fehr were busy plastering the store window with paper eggs yesterday to display the support of Easter Seals Ontario’s “paper eggs” campaign. This initiative is part of Easter Seals’ annual March is Easter Seals Month fundraising and awareness campaign, and helps support children with physical disabilities by selling paper eggs for $2 each. Paper eggs will be sold in stores until April 5. Those who purchase two paper eggs can enter their name in a draw for one of two prize baskets. To supplement the fundraising, the store also held a bake sale last weekend and will have a “spin the wheel” game on April 4. Customers, meanwhile, are invited to use their loose change to vote for their favourite photo on display.
