Tyler Moffitt, left, and Scott Hamilton loaded up a tree on Armit Avenue during the Fort Frances Fire Brigade’s annual Christmas tree pick-up Saturday. Teams spent the afternoon collecting the trees, which were taken to the wood chipper at Daryl’s Custom Landscapes Ltd. They also collected money to donate to the family of a Grade 5 student at Robert Moore School who has been diagnosed with osteosarcoma (bone cancer) and currently receiving treatment at Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
